About the Role

As Ready continues to scale nationally, we are seeking a Director to set the vision, implement, and manage a Product Operations function within the Central Operations department. Success in this role means building a bridge between Ready’s Product team and the broader organization. This leader will need to will need to be laser focused on building and managing the processes and teams necessary to enable a high-performing product operations function at Ready. This position has the option to be remote.

What You Will Do

Scope, build, and manage a high-performing team designed to deliver output across the following areas:

  • Set the vision, implement, and manage the mission-critical workflows necessary to link Ready’s business priorities with the Product team; ensure organizational alignment across product planning and product roadmap
  • Manage the process to prioritize products and features
  • Operationalizing products
    • Manage the process and timing to roll-out products and features
    • Run and evaluate pilot programs
    • Manage the process to learn what is working and what isn’t working from users
    • Run a robust communication process that helps stakeholder groups across the organization understand what’s happening now, and what’s happening in the future
  • Run the process for bug and issue resolution

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum 7+ years experience in one or multiple of the following areas: operations leadership at a tech-enabled start-up, product management, product operations, or consulting; experience scoping and managing a product operations team nice-to-have
  • Excitement about being both a doer and a manager; someone who is motivated to ‘get things done’ as the team grows and scales
  • Experience managing a high-performing team mandatory
  • High level of comfort with the technology infrastructure found at a at modern tech-enabled company
  • Experience building out the metrics, infrastructure, processes, best practices, and reporting that are the ‘operations’ functions of a Product team
  • Desire to embed with the Product team at a high-growth tech-enabled start-up; expert-level ability to use quantitative and qualitative methods to define product requirements, enhancements, and priorities
  • Ability to balance the competing needs of business stakeholders and drive to decisions around what gets put into the product development pipeline, and what does not
  • Serve as the voice of the business to Product, and vice-versa, serve as the voice of the Product team to the organization to ensure alignment on roll-out of technology initiatives across the organization
  • Strong ability to understand ambiguous problem sets, and to define and implement the processes necessary to avoid these problems in the future
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience leading communication efforts around impactful changes to how business is done
  • Quick learner, willing to work in a fast-paced environment where processes change regularly
  • Values-driven and someone who will go the extra mile to ensure Ready’s culture remains strong
