Description

We are looking for an imaginative Graphic Designer with a passion for developing compelling and on-brand graphics to join our Marketing team to help evolve our visual brand, expand awareness of our EMPACT Immersive Learning Platform, and communicate the HTX Labs story. This role involves collaboration with a versatile team comprised of 3D artists, content producers, software engineers, Customer Success, and our leadership team. The ideal person will have a strong understanding of design and video production software tools, a creative outlook on modern marketing, and an interest in immersive technologies focused on learning and training. Must be comfortable with a fully remote, small team, operating in a fast-paced, agile environment with the opportunity to contribute to a variety of impactful projects. Salary $60,000 – $70,000

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and create elegant, clean, modern design based on an established brand aesthetic and style
• Brainstorm, create, and transform ideas into compelling designs that will appear in printed materials and digital marketing channels: banners, presentations, posters, website, email, web banners, social media graphics, iconography and other creative assets that preserve and elevate the HTX brand
• Refresh and update previous designs to create a unified aesthetic for our brand materials
• Work with the Marketing and Customer Success team to brainstorm and share design perspectives, ideas, and understand project scope and objectives
• Edit and produce marketing videos for product suite
• Communicate frequently with team to update them on the progress of the project, and to answer any questions they might have, express urgency in bringing up any issues
• Other duties as requested

Skills

Education:

• College degree in related graphic design field or equivalent experience

Experience:

• Graphic design: 5years (Preferred)
• Adobe Illustrator: 4 years (Preferred)
• Adobe Photoshop: 4 years (Preferred)
• Interest in Virtual Reality and Serious Games would be ideal
• Team oriented and collaborative
• Must be authorized to work in the US

Qualifications:

• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong, polished aesthetic, meticulous sense of detail, and ability to create simple solutions to complex design challenges
• Knowledge of design practices – layouts, grids, graphic fundamentals, proportion, perspective, composition, typography, color theory, digital / print, special theory, for XR, mobile, and the web
• Experienced in video editing and motion graphics (Premiere and After Effects)
• Organized, efficient, and detail oriented
• Strong communication skills with the ability to give / take direction and explain design thinking, and work as a core member of a team
• Ability to be flexible, adapt on the fly, and offer solutions
• Experience with brand guidelines, marketing, advertising, and APA style
• Proven professional approach to time, costs, deadlines, and pressure
• Experience with 3D programs is a plus
• Experience in immersive learning and training a plus
