We’re seeking a high-energy sales manager to join our Sales team as a Manager, Sales Development Representatives (SDR) Team where you’ll manage a team responsible for following up, qualifying, and converting all Marketing generated leads as well as driving market share through proactive prospecting activities against targeted accounts. In this role, you’ll oversee the daily activities of the SDR team, looking at what’s happening at a grassroots level, providing fresh ideas, and adjusting strategies as needed. You will also have ownership of managing the relationship of a 3rd party SDR team responsible for proactively penetrating key commercial accounts. - Establishes and maintains a merit-based, fun, dynamic work environment that appeals to the top talent in the field and enables operational objectives.
- Provides vision, planning & prioritization for team resources delegating and assigning projects, duties, and objectives.
- Leads and coaches the team structuring appropriate training and development and eliminating road blocks to team performance.
- Leads relationship and execution of a 3rd party SDR team responsible for proactively penetrating key commercial accounts.
- Partners with Talent team on the acquisition and retention of people resources to fulfill team mission successfully. Owns the selection process.
- Ensures process documents are complete, current, communicated and stored appropriately.
- Establishes and maintains relevant quality and performance controls and feedback systems to monitor the operation of the department.
- Focuses on building and improving process efficiencies within team.
- Provides reports on team metrics, KPIs and results to department leadership and stakeholders.
- Responsible for management and attainment of individual/team plan goals.
- Consistently ensures that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behavior aligns with iCIMS’ core competencies
- Achieves plan goals for opportunities. Develops and implements strategies and processes to support the Inside Sales team in delivering against individual and company objectives.
- Drives the Inside Sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes in line with corporate objectives.
- Proactively identifies and addresses opportunities to improve Inside Sales performance, processes, people and technology.
- Assesses lead quality and provide feedback to Demand Generation Marketing Managers to improve lead conversion rates.
- Uses iCIMS’ Sales CRM to track and record sales activity to ensure that metrics can be accurately measured
- Takes measures to enhance body of knowledge and skill set through training
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of prior experience with Inside Sales, Sales or Sales Development (annual company revenue goals of $50MM + preferred).
- A minimum of 1 year of experience managing a sales team preferred.
- Ability to develop Sales Forecasts and manage Reporting Analytics required.
- Team goal focused with a consistent record of quota achievement.
- Proven leadership skills with experience building and growing high performing teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in Inside Sales strategies, techniques, processes and measurements.
- Strong aptitude in organizational skills including project management and time management.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a high degree of approachability and the ability to work seamlessly in a team oriented environment.
- Comfortable working in a demanding, fast-paced changing environment that is going through high growth.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must articulate thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
- Driven and passionate about leading, mentoring and developing an inside sales team.
- Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency and Salesforce.com experience is a plus.

Target Total Compensation – $92,600 – $123,500
