POSITION SUMMARY:

The Patient Outcomes and Experiences Marketing team is responsible for the translation of research, design, execution and reporting of the marketing plans and programs that focus on increasing patient access to cellular therapy by reducing barriers, providing education, counseling and navigation support to improve patient outcomes.

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting patient outcomes and experiences marketing initiatives, plans, projects, campaigns and patient resource development. This role is accountable for managing the process flow for projects. Track projects through their development cycle, owning the requests, timelines and communications. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet defined objectives, are delivered on time and yield effective results. This position can be located in Minneapolis or anywhere in the U.S.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Project Coordination:

  • Works collaboratively with Marketing Managers and Marketing Specialists to understand business objectives, audiences and implements multi-channel marketing efforts to meet objectives. Communicates proactively by providing project status, plans, issues, barriers, recommendations and solutions.
  • Creates and manages project timelines and budget tracking, ensuring on-time, on-budget completion of projects—from concept through implementation and measurement. Collaborates with Marketing Manager and Marketing Specialist to manage project budget allocation from multiple funding sources.
  • Develops and maintains effective and transparent working relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization to develop and implement projects.
  • Schedules meetings engage other teams as needed and maintain line of sight into all key initiatives to ensure effective communication.
  • Provides timely and effective project management and team communication from concept through execution and reporting.
  • Identifies and flag issues or delays in a project, providing solutions and alternatives to pivot plans to maintain on-time delivery while fulfilling project objectives.
  • Manages status sheet for marketing program, ensuring all projects and line items are up to date and all stakeholders are aware of their responsibilities.

Process Development & Management:

  • Develop Patient Marketing workflow process map.
  • Visually outlines patient marketing project workflow, responsible parties, the standard procedures and steps required.

Communication:

  • Facilitates creative reviews from initiation through final approval, ensuring thorough and timely reviews. Ensures reviewer’s feedback is appropriately incorporated and communicates reasoning and alternatives for feedback that is not incorporated.
  • Provides direction to internal and external writers on content development and designers on visual design development. Ensures writing and creative meet project objectives and are delivered on time. Provides timely and meaningful feedback to writers and designers. Facilitates brand review for projects leveraging external writers or designers.
  • Provides direction to other project team members and/or external vendors, including production, mailing, web, e-communications and others to implement tactics in a timely and effective manner.
  • Captures feedback and notes from key meetings and calls, then shares out to stakeholders to identify action items and responsibilities.

Measures Effectiveness of Efforts:

  • Collaborates with Marketing team to establish clear project goals and metrics, and then works to achieve those goals in collaboration with project team.
  • Requests metrics from web team, social team, internal partners and vendors as needed. Tracks and analyzes project metrics and progress to goal.
  • Regularly reports project results to Marketing team. Provides meaningful updates to broader project team and department.
  • Provides recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Participates in development of recap reports and presentations of campaign impact.

Other Accountabilities:

  • Participates in planning and budgeting process for marketing and communication programs and resources in the yearly planning process.
  • Researches and vets new vendors, technology and marketing tactics.
  • Understands and interprets company and audience branding standards (graphic, language, etc.) to reinforce consistency and credibility of brand across multiple audiences.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of:

  • Strong planning, problem-solving and project management, with extreme attention to detail to implement multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of health equity.

Ability to:

  • Demonstrate strong project-management skills.
  • Demonstrate advanced written and oral communications, including writing and editing experience.
  • Implement effective communication projects to engage and motivate audiences across multiple channels, including print, web, e-communications, social, PR, and tradeshows/events.
  • Must exemplify our Be The Match Standards.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Public Relations, Marketing, Mass Communications or related field. Upon evaluation, three years’ experience related to the minimum experience below may be substituted for degree requirement.
  • One to three years of experience creating and implementing integrated marketing/communication plans and projects; engaging audiences to learn and take action.
  • Project management experience, including planning and execution, is required; as is writing to public and professional audiences, across multiple communications channels.
