Project Lead

Key Role:

Serve as a member of the Talent Acquisition Project Management Office (PMO), aligned to TA Operations. Provide project management and consultative support to large, complex, or highly-visible projects within the Talent Acquisition function. Help guide cross-functional project teams across the full project management life cycle from initial concept through implementation, including working collaboratively with the respective leads to scope the effort, define work streams, activities and deliverables, develop project plans and other program documentation, monitor project status, facilitate status reviews and prepare or help to present interim and final deliverables and briefings to senior leadership and other key stakeholders. This position is open to remote delivery from any location in the U.S., to include the District of Columbia. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with providing project management support and direction to cross-functional project teams
  • 3+ years of experience as a management consultant, including gathering data and input from multiple stakeholders, conducting analyses, and appropriately developing or applying various strategic and analytic frameworks
  • Experience with converting project status, challenges, and opportunities into stories with PowerPoint
  • Experience with motivating and mediating to achieve success project completion
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and SharePoint and Visio
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously and successfully
  • Ability to build realistic project plans and program documentation and identify and mitigate risks, milestones, deliverables, and work streams
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and solve technical, administrative, and managerial problems
  • Ability to negotiate and manage resources diplomatically and soothe the inevitable conflicts that arise in large, multi-stakeholder projects
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience in a dynamic and growing US government contracting environment preferred
  • Experience in or supporting Human Resources, specifically Talent Acquisition a plus
  • Knowledge of change management concepts or frameworks preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
