We are looking for a User Experience Researcher who is passionate about helping us make a best in class experience for our users.

You will help us identify opportunities for experience improvements, and understand our user’s needs and behaviors. You will work with teams across the entire organization, and as part of our internal design team, working with our designers, product managers, and engineers to help shape our future solutions based on insights.

Your role will include:

  • Translating business goals into research questions and developing research plans
  • Determining the type of study most appropriate to gain the necessary insights
  • Recruiting and scheduling study participants
  • Help create and manage the research roadmap and calendar
  • Identifying user pain points and suggesting measurable actions to address them whilst also helping us achieve business objectives
  • Planning, preparing and carrying out usability and concept testing
  • Help track and monitor progress on development and quality of the user experience.
  • Present findings both written and verbally
  • Staying up to date on industry trends and applicable external studies, and sharing these findings
  • Be an evangelist of a user-centered way of working throughout the organization

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years working as a UX/User Researcher
  • Post-secondary education in human computer interaction, cognitive or experimental psychology, sociology or similar
  • Experience with all aspects of research, including study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, and reporting
  • A deep understanding of research methods, including when and how to apply them
  • Experience testing on a variety of devices, including mobile, tablet and desktop
  • Excellent behavioral data-collection and analysis skills
  • Strong understanding of quantitative data analysis and statistics
  • Experience in creating customer journey maps
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts clearly across diverse audiences
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
