Web Developer (Remote)
We are looking for a Web Developer for a global B2B high tech company. In this role you will be working on DDlog programming language. DDlog is new programming language that client have as open source. It help optimize the performance of software platform. You will build tools and tutorials to help developers learn DDlog and become productive with the language.
- This is a 6 month (extensions likely), 40 hour per week role. This is remote role in the US.
- This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions’ employee. Health benefits and 401K offered.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a web-based playground service where developers can write and test simple DDlog programs without having to install DDlog (in the spirit of https://play.rust-lang.org/).
- Backend: create DDlog-compiler-as-a-service on AWS.
- Frontend: create a browser widget to interact with the backend.
- Build an interactive DDlog tutorial: a step-by-step introduction to DDlog by example using the web-based playground to run the examples.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in web development.
- Should have experience in open source (like GitHub).
- Should have experience in Distributed Systems.
- Should have experience in C++.
- Experience or knowledge in Rust is preferred.
- Experience in implementing compilers, developer tools, IDE plugins is preferred.
- Bachelors Degree
