I perform several roles at this agile company, whose focus is on the rapid development of software and hardware, primarily for the healthcare sector. Orchestrated all of Aspire's devops efforts, designing and developing microservices, and overseeing HIPAA compliance throughout the organization.

• Use Go as a principal language for devops tooling, including sensor interfaces using the MQTT protocol.
• Use NATS as a pub/sub event broker for machine learning tasks.
• Write microservices in Go and C# (.Net Core) for various purposes.
• Utilize gRPC for point-to-point communication between microservices.
• Developed CI/CD (Jenkins, Fastlane, and TestFlight) workflow for Ionic mobile applications, from source control all the way to delivery to beta users via TestFlight
• Oversee AWS architecture, including the creation of ad-hoc VPCs for test applications, and all associated services
• Developed Packer and Terraform workflows for quick infrastructure design and deployment
• Perform regular audits of infrastructure and assets to ensure HIPAA compliance

Work primarily with .NET and LAMP stacks to develop client web applications. Delivered four native iOS applications and two native Android applications to clients. Also manage application security, including auditing code standards and performing penetration tests.

• Began developing internal devops tooling infrastructure, including CI/CD process. Used a mixture of Go, Ruby, and C# to generate tools.

Managed the technology stack for a 50-person outbound call center. Wrote several plugins for Asterisk PBX system, and managed thin-client systems throughout call center.

• Used C++ to build Asterisk plugins, and Perl to build the front end.

Designed embedded software systems for PLC applications in the building management space. Applications included humidity controls for large supermarkets and sports arenas. Worked with various protocols including Modbus and Lonworks.

• Created humidity control applications for major grocery chains, including Wegman's and Whole Foods
• Created humidity control applications for Five Flags Center (Ice Rink) in Dubuque, Iowa
