Built a platform to provide self-ride electric scooter rentals to cater to the last mile & short commute needs of users.

Product suite comprised of -

Consumer facing Android application, Operations & Charging management command centers & IoT device configured at scooter end to facilitate digital hiring.

  • Launched operations in Pune with 25 e-scooters (Mar 2019) and scaled the fleet to 200 e-scooters (Mar 2020)
  • Served 32000+ rides catering to mobility needs of 15000+ users. Fleet covered 120000+ kms shifting left 10000+kg in Co2 emissions
  • Achieved ~3x growth in MRR from $500+ in Mar, 19 to $1400+ in Feb, 20
  • Optimized battery swap cost from $.20 to $.10 by pooling swaps
  • Identified power user segments and launched a subscription offering for them
  • Experimented a B2B offering for hyperlocal delivery in partnership with Dunzo and understood the shortcomings of low-speed scooters in serving this use case
  • Partnered with smart city authorities, public transit agencies & OEMs to support in scaling the parking infrastructure & fleet.
