Marguerite Cassandra Toroian is an entrepreneur who leads Bell Rock Capital, LLC, providing a host of financial management services. Known for her extensive knowledge of private investment in public equity (PIPE) transactions, Marguerite Cassandra Toroian has worked with small community banks that are publicly held to rapidly expand their capital base with institutional investors.
Ms. Toroian earned her bachelor’s degree in government and law and Spanish from Lafayette College in the mid-1990s, and started her career with a Pennsylvania mutual fund firm as buy-side analyst. She next gained sell-side analysis experience as a member of Ryan Beck & Co., a regional brokerage.
In 1999, Ms. Toroian helped establish the boutique Philadelphia investment bank Cohen Bros. & Co. Quickly earning a nationwide reputation for stock picking ability, she was selected as one of The Wall Street Journal’s five “All Star” analysts.
Ms. Toroian has a strong focus on bettering her community. She serves on a local homeless shelter, where she helps address urgent challenges such as lack of affordable housing in non-urban areas.
