Dr. Ali Albassami is the Front-End Engineering Design Manager of the First Nuclear Power Plant Project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Dr. Albassami is responsible for planning and directing project engineering assignments on the project, demonstrating superior knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines with the ability to plan, organize and direct a large (30 person) multi-discipline engineering and design team, and having technical responsibilities for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating these assignments. Dr. Albassami's is responsible for assessing design and construction management/procurement services to be provided by leading nuclear Technology Suppliers worldwide. He’s also advising on the preparation of the Project Execution Plans (PEP) and project reporting as well as the development of contractual requirements and scopes of work. As work progresses, he assures compliance with the plans, requirements, and scopes of work that were defined initially. He works to verify plans, consultants’ reports, specifications for accuracy; note discrepancies and support the management of outstanding correspondences, workflows, and RFIs with all stakeholders, internally and externally.
