As a Lettings Officer I am responsible for delivering a high quality, integrated neighbourhood management service that is closer to our customer and helps to create sustainable neighbourhoods with a particular focus on lettings.

  • To allocate homes and undertake sign ups of new tenants at their new property providing advice and assistance on the property, community and any other help the tenant may require.
  • Working closely with colleagues to help prioritise voids and to provide a speedy service. Where necessary to attend void meetings to help ensure good communications, void standard and void re-let times (KPI’s)
  • Home visits of housing applicants, transfer applicants or decant applicants where appropriate, application vetting and obtaining any necessary information.
  • Handling customer queries and complaints.
  • To carry out viewings at void properties with potential future tenants
  • Assist in the planning, preparation and delivery of local marketing strategies.
  • Constantly striving to improve enabling Key Performance Indicators to be reached, while having the the ability to achieve and exceed these targets on a regular basis.

As an Asset Compliance Co-ordinator I was responsible for commissioning the groups asset compliance service with a particular focus on delivering the groups annual gas and electrical servicing programme, ensuring all regulatory and legislative responsibilities are adhered to at all times.

  • To commission the groups 12 month rolling gas and electrical testing programme, servicing and maintaining a portfolio of 8,000 properties across the North West.
  • Regular attendance of client/contractor meetings to improve the service and while maintaining relevant legalities.
  • Daily reports produced and commutated to the Compliance Director
  • Audits of Certifications following gas and electrical testing/servicing.
  • Perpetration of court action paperwork where necessary.
  • Dealing with customer queries over the phone and email
  • Raising invoices and completion of purchase orders

My role as Health & Safety Administrator consisted of supporting the groups the health & safety administration function. My role was essentially split between Regenda and M&Y Maintenance (subsidiary business of Regenda) gaining a vast experience in regards to health and safety in housing along with construction and property maintenance.

  • Responsible for recording and reporting of the groups near miss and accident records.
  • To maintain the groups health & safety document library ensuring regulation is to ISO 9001.
  • Responsible for maintaining the groups training records along with scheduling necessary refresher training through a recognised grant training scheme, CITB.
  • General administrative duties including such as scanning, photocopying, presentation work and assistance with corporate projects
  • Raising invoices and completion of purchase orders

My role as a Customer Service Apprentice consisted of supporting the front line services Regenda offers to it customer. This included support to the tenancy management, financial inclusion, Anti-social behaviour and lettings team based in a busy service centre environment.
