I have grown professionally with the 1199SEIU Training & Employment Funds in various roles spanning a decade. My current title of Program Specialist I, specific to the Tuition Assistance Department, utilizes my data analysis and process development skills. I have also been fortunate enough to combine my creative passions with a myriad of 1199SEIU projects.

• Provide assistance to Director and Assistant Director in the delivery of high quality education programs and the provision of assistance to members in advancing their educational goals and careers at the 1199SEIU Training and Employment Funds
• Review and develop TA process and workflow for various programs within the department
• Liaison and approver of regional tuition assistance reimbursements and account receivable issues
• Manager of weekly payroll transmissions, record-keeping and electronic filing
• Develop Tuition Assistance internal processes, documents and electronic workflow
• Oversee the development and process of the CEU program

I began with 1199SEIU as an Assistant Program Specialist for the Pre-LPN program. During my time as an APS I moved on to work with Program Support, running data analysis and developing queries and push-button reports for quarterly Board of Trustee updates.

• Facilitate member enrollment in appropriate programs, coordinate and organize all the logistical aspects of classes and cohort programs, facilitate workshops and orientations for students
• Ensure students are fully aware of their obligations throughout their learning experience, resulting in timely submission of required documents and enhanced customer satisfaction
• Enter, collect and review student data; create and analyze reports for Trustees to ensure eligibility and academic standards are being met
• Serve as a liaison with stakeholders, including 1199SEIU union organizers/delegates and educational institutions such as colleges, universities and training providers
• Write code that is in sync with common needs of the Training Funds business practices
• Develop reports and detailed graphic presentations for various Training Fund programs
• Analyze raw data and develop detailed presentations at the Director and Assistant Director level

I studied various disciplines of art , media and design theory: Illustration, Graphic, Design, Story Boarding, Project Management, Photography

I studied illustration, painting and design techniques.

Informational video for 1199SEIU's pilot program in the Bronx. The program is designed to sponsor a cohort of Spanish speaking students that live and work within the Bronx community. The video was used for promotion on network television and various 1199SEIU curated events.

A video produced of the 2014 recipients of the Basil Paterson Scholarship. The video was used for a graduation ceremony and as a thank you to the late Basil Paterson for his many contributions.

An Internal video loop outlining the programs offered by 1199SEIU Training & Employment Funds. The video is currently used in the admissons rooms at TEF sites.

A photography project for the 1199SEIU Citizenship Program observing students in class. Today the Citizenship Program is responsible for more than 10,000 members becoming American citizens.
