Our team created a "theme park in a box" so that each year the attractions could be unpacked, reused and upgraded. Five attractions with outdoor area development and live entertainment. The park, now a great success, continues to receive rave reviews and a is a key revenue driver for Long Beach.
Shanghai World Expo 2010 - Technical Direction for the pavilion and senior producer for the handheld device. Lead the technical team for show operations, lighting, video, sound, show control for an E-ticket style attraction. My team designed and created a "first of its kind" interactive pavilion featuring two immersive shows and an interactive mobile device for every visitor. Guests enjoyed an “impossible” level of interactivity that made them part of the show and let them enjoy experiences they gathered with their device on personal websites after the Expo ended. BRC– received a 2010 THEA Award for innovation in technology and storytelling.

I worked side by side with one of the original creators of HD programming in the US. Productions were location and studio based. Managed and technically directed a state of the art 9-11 museum and 3D experience on Wall Street. The role gave me a hands-on education of content development, HD broadcasts, and production to ensure content is pure and true to the original shot footage.
After performing at the park, I was offered the Technical Director of the entire park for full-time employment. I was 19, wide-eyed and ready to work 15 hours days. I was given way too much responsibility, but the opportunity to revamp five different live shows and refurbish an original Goddard Production Animatronic show. This gave me the theme park bug, and I have never looked back.
