RMA, Customer Support, and ERP integration

SCUF Gaming, of Corsair

Lead a 3 person team of developers for the RMA and Zendesk customer support integration, in collaboration with another developer responsible for the Oracle ERP and PowerBI integration, the IT Director, and the RMA manager to reduce overhead in processing the current RMAs created by Covid-19 by automating the processes, estimates, and communication as much as possible between the customer, accounting, and warehouse staff, while also integrating the process into our new holding company’s ERP system. Project goals included refactoring legacy code to fit new integration, improve return merchandize UI to allow for handling multiple items per return request, showing warranty information changes to both customers and warehouse staff in real-time, migrating aspects of the process that were handled by customer service to Zendesk, automating documentation of payment and disputes during the quoting process, propagating the information between Zendesk, the Manufacturing Enterprise System, and ERP, integrating Klaviyo notifications to customers during key steps in the RMA process, and making that same timeline visible on the Magento storefront for customers to check on.

Salesforce Ecosystem Integration

Co-lead a 7 person team of 3 developers and four agency contractors, in collaboration with Product Owner, company’s VP of Sales and subsidiary’s regional manager, Senior Marketing Coordinator, and CIO to migrate from HubSpot to a more robust analytics tool that can also be integrated with our B2B eCommerce platform. Project goals included implementing marketing components for Pardot and DiscoverOrg in Salesforce, adding an interface for sales staff in Salesforce to edit and comment on existing Magento customers and quotes, allow Sales representatives to complete Magento purchase from Salesforce for authorized quotes, sync Magento and Salesforce leads and quotes, and train staff on how to setup reports in Salesforce to track quotes and lead generation.

Compliance Document Migration

WE2, of NEXT Financial Group, Inc.

Lead a three person team of 2 web developers and 1 graphic designer to assist the Compliance Manager of one of our subsidiaries. The project goals involved migrating compliance documents previously registered broker-dealer representatives from a soon to be phased out part of the company’s extranet ASP site to its public facing WordPress site. Project requirements included, but were not limited to: adding a compliance section to the member’s-only website scope, adding the ability for staff to easily upload and manage compliance documents from the WordPress administrator dashboard, allow those forms to be associated to an article or section on the customer-facing side of the WordPress site, and show each article as a downloadable and collapsible link list to customers upon publication by the managing administrator(s). Final deployment included QA by select company staff, and staff training of management tools.
