Six month internship working for a planning and advisory firm based in Minneapolis. Provided consultancy services to the convention, sport, entertainment and visitor industries.

• Conducted feasibility studies into destinations and venues.
• Formatted and proof read reports.
• Sorted data and created Excel charts for presentations.

Worked remotely performing various tasks for the founder. I learnt a lot about startups and the technologies that go into chat bots.

• My main role was to compile lists of potential angel investors and assembling email drafts for the leads I found.
• I was also involved in retargeting and reengaging users on the Facebook Messenger platform.
• The tools I used included Slack, Clearbit Connect, Front, Bench and Missive.

Three month internship working for a PR agency based in Minneapolis and New York. Created content for a variety of mediums and clients.

• I was primarily involved in producing copy working on communications like infographics, brochures, case studies and landing pages.
• I collaborated with all parts of the creative team including graphic designers, video editors, photographers, developers and sound engineers. This has given me a great insight into how all these roles combine and work towards the end goal of satisfying the client.

I try to publish at least one article a week on my blog. I'm also actively trying to promote my writing by interacting with other users on Medium, as well as

Twitter, Product Hunt, Reddit and Hacker News. I pride myself on my ability to grow an audience.

I was interested in Github so I decided to see what it was all about. I read that the Jekyll framework is a great entry point so I took a online course and created a website.
