Within a hybrid waterfall-agile environment, I worked closely with Technology, Front Office, Compliance on multiple workstreams including change/business readiness programmes, process re-engineering, large scale system implementation and small remediation book of work pertaining to regulatory projects.

  • Lead BA for the high profile Operational Change/Readiness Programme for new system implementation. Responsible for ensuring operations readiness and managing impact of a new IT system as part of new regulatory requirements. Work included documenting procedures, roles and responsibilities, testing, managing training, go-live and issue management
  • Conducted workshops with Dublin Cash Management Team to document current state ‘As Is’ and ‘To Be' of impacted procedural changes
  • Led user experience workshops with Dublin Team to identify customer journey mapping and support UX enhancements backlog which will form Day 2 book of work. This involved documenting the user journey of the Operations Team and raising significant UX issues of current system within JIRA
  • Produced Business Requirement Documentation, Functional Requirements for 3rd Party Vendor Meritsoft to support the requirements gathering phase of a new Research and Inducements system application
  • Created process flow diagrams documenting all areas of operational change post MiFID II and seeking sign off from global stakeholders
  • Produced Target Operating Modelling to ensure end-state objectives were documented and RACI Matrix capturing both post go-live operational duties
  • Coordinated testing and training sessions. This included ensuring IT and Operational teams had suitable test scripts, logged issues via JIRA and resolved issue backlog. Created project plans for multiple projects being managed using MS Project

Worked in a purely ‘agile’ scrum environment on complex software development projects as part of the Reference Data digital transformation programme. My primary role consisted of liaising with project developers, UX leads, and internal clients on projects including: the conversation of paper based legal documents into data attributes, and the automation of manual processes into automated web apps.

  • In charge of running business case ‘ideation’ workshops with operations and development team. This involved discussing smalls scale change proposals with Operations personnel, capturing as business cases and prioritising high value business cases for development within our product backlog
  • Undertook t-shirt sizing/resource sessions with developers to identify effort, resource, budget and presented proposal to approval committee
  • Capture of key requirements for developers through creation of user stories/Epics via JIRA.
  • Managed backlog prioritisation through Kanban boards, working with developers and Operations team to identify key focus on daily basis to support MVP delivery vs nice to have. Supported this with coordination of daily standup/scrum meetings. Undertook backlog refinement exercises
  • Working with UX leads, produced wireframes of proposed delivery to developer to support tech delivery. I also produced customer personas and customer journey mapping and ensure design had customer-fit
  • Coordinated SIT/UAT checkpoint workshops with Operations and Tech to test/ review MVP delivery within the allotted sprint window.

  • Supported the full project lifecycle of Global Trade Repository OTC Derivatives reporting project (Dodd Frank). This included process mapping of current/future states, business requirements documentation, support of UAT/SIT.
  • Managing the production of a revised SOP, Daily MIS, KRI, UAT and change approach documents as part of the EMIR project.
  • As part of the CASS remediation project, I delivered requirements gathering workshops and documentation, produced project plans in MS Project, managed issue logs in JIRA and process reviews.
