Was the face and voice of the cruise travel experience for 2000+ guests at a time onboard Holland America Line cruise ships, traveling to 6 different continents.

  • Did live daily travel presentations to audiences of 600-800 people, focused on what travel opportunities were available in their upcoming ports of call.
  • Worked collectively with cruise line captains and hotel directors to effectively deliver information and service to sailing guests.
  • Hosted various social events, including game shows, trivia's, live entertainment performances and musical events. Responsible for scheduling these events at appropriate times to best present bar revenue opportunities onboard.

  • Main responsibility was being the face and voice of the cruising experience for between 1200-2500 guests sailing around the world on leisure travel cruise itineraries.
  • Managed a department of 60+ staff varying from stage performers and musicians to youth care staff and activities directors.
  • Worked closely with hotel department managers to create synergy between different departments, including food and beverage, housekeeping and guest services to create a smooth sailing experience for guests.
  • Was responsible for managing complaints and improving guest satisfaction ratings. This included filing weekly reports to the corporate offices shoreside.
