Operation of the co-generation facility, providing steam and electricity to campus and hospital systems using 2 Fluidized Bed Fossil Fuel Boilers, 3 Gas/Oil fired package boilers, a Steam Driven Turbine with two controllable extractions with associated Air-Cooled Generator rated for 35 Mega-Watt, two Emergency Start Diesel Generators, and a Landfill Gas Flare Skid with associated 1.5 Mega-Watt Generator. Operation of all co-generation systems equipment to ensure safe, reliable steam and electric distribution to the campus and hospital systems. Give work directives to Auxiliary Operators during daily operations and events such as boiler, turbine and/or facility start-ups, shutdowns, trips, and equipment swaps or testing. Writing work orders for any equipment needing repairs and/or preventive maintenance in the company LOTO program (Maximo). Performing lock-out/tag-out procedures on equipment to be isolated, ensuring there is no possibility of any accidental discharge of energy. Ensuring plant reliability, safety, efficiency, emissions and waste-water limits are met.
