Integral member of numerous teams to ensure all kids receive academics, instruction, and advocacy. These teams include Neuro-Oncology, Sickle Cell, Bone Marrow Transplant, Oncology, and the Wellness Team. I leveraged my experience to maximize relationships with departmental leaders and team members for effective collaboration on hospital-wide initiatives. Additionally, I was chosen to plan and host the 2018 Joint National Conference AECMN/APHOES. I am a proud member of the Hospital Educator and Academic Liason Association.

  • Work with children grades kindergarten through Twelfth grade bedside and small group instruction.
  • Coordinated with students’ home schools to provide appropriate curriculum and workload.
  • Helped create curriculums as independent studies for high school aged children.
  • Facilitated conversation about homebound services, 504 Plans and IEPs.
