Design, document, develop, code, test, debug, and maintain our suite of business applications in the financial services field. As a senior engineer, I am also more involved in peer code reviews and architecture discussions. Most recently, I have been working on rewriting legacy applications and services to be cloud native.

• Lead developer of our suite of APIs created in the cloud (AWS) using lambdas written in NodeJS and C#
• Moved our dataload/ETL jobs to the cloud using AWS Fargate, Lambdas, and ElasticSearch
• Migrated an expensive legacy PDF generation service using React to build the frontend and Puppeteer to generate PDFs of our single page application
• Using terraform as our infrastructure as code tool to automate our AWS infrastructure and deployments

Design, document, develop, code, test, debug, and maintain our suite of business applications in the financial services field. This involves working in close coordination with dev and QA team members to deliver the best product, and with customers, stakeholders, and product managers to understand and maintain a high level understanding of the current and upcoming requirements for our applications.

• Helped break apart our legacy, monolithic applications into more modern, customizable modular applications and microservices
• Helped rewrite our analytics platform which powers our most lucrative product
• Part of the team that built our Vendor Management platform - frontend with Angular, back end APIs in C#, SQL and MongoDB as datastore, full text search with ElasticSearch, and cloud native in AWS

Worked closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers and System Analysts to understand product features and create test strategies. Wrote automated functional, regression, and performance tests for our customer facing applications and internal services.

• Drove the adoption of Selenium as our test framework
