I lead and manage a team of 27 members of staff across the division, compromising of the Service Delivery and Technical Delivery team. The technical delivery team are reasonable for managing and maintaining our County wide telecommunications network providing connectivity to over 80 site and the day to day running of our two on-premise data centers running 400 VM windows hosts and 15 Solaris UNIX systems. My Service Delivery team provide day-to-day support to over 5000 customers through our Service Desk, based on ITIL Best Practices, and site engineers
responsible for assessing threats and vulnerabilities of the businesses digital systems and implementing systems, processes and policies to minimise these threats. I lead on the procurement and implementation of Kaspersky AV across our desktop estate and the installation of third generation Palo Alto Firewalls. I would assist senior managers in the development of policies and advise on the technical security of the entire server and storage infrastructure provided and the provision of local and wide area networks of the organisation. I worked across all the areas of the organisation to ensure legislative compliance in maintained and that robust and effective IT Security is provided for existing and new technologies
I managed the day-to-day operations of the 2nd line technical support team working as part of the ICT Service Desk. I managed a team of 6 members of staff and lead on the implementation of remote support to our customers following ITIL principals
