I work with both individuals and businesses to create images that communicate their personality and expertise in their own fields.

• Learned to work with clients at each stage of the process (procurement, planning, shoot, delivery, & followup).

Took photos for publication, managed volunteer photographers, and was part of the team of editors that laid out both the online and print versions of the newspaper.

• Developed a more robust system to assign stories to volunteer photographers, and brought on a more stable roster for consistency.
• Streamlined my process as the Photo Editor: reducing the previous workflow of me working until 4am the next morning, down to a more manageable 8-10pm on Production Nights, without a drop in quality.

Worked as a freelance photographer on the side while attending university and also while holding other jobs.

• Learned to use different project management tools and processes to make sure I delivered a good product in a timely manner to clients.

Before becoming the Photo Editor, I worked under the wing of a more experienced photographer in handling photo submissions, volunteer photographers, and editing for a news publication.

• Despite having no experience as an editor at this point, I was able to learn quickly and handle most of the roles by the end of the semester, which allowed me to take on the position of Photo Editor once he graduated.

A short-term position where I was focused on migrating part of the software engineering workload to a remote office in South Korea. My background in software, previous experience with the product (co-op work position), and language skills in Korean made me the ideal candidate for this position.

• Developed the ability to liaison between offices in different time-zones and communicate needs effectively between teams.
