My core responsibilities included owning the company’s design system and leading the design process for the new payments and invoicing feature.

As Senior Product Designer, I was focused on building an email marketing management product for agencies, franchises and universities.

As Product Director of a SMB-focused SaaS application, my responsibilities include:

• Collaborating on company strategy at a senior level with the leadership team
• Owning the product roadmap; defining product vision and prioritizing features
• Co-managing a 100% remote team that consists of a usability project manager, QA analyst, product designer, and full-stack developers
• Identifying and creating feature stories based on customer research, data-driven results, and market analysis
• Operating as project manager; defining detailed acceptance criteria, collaborating with the development team on segmenting stories into deliverable iterations, prioritizing and defining deliverability schedules

As Senior Product Designer and the company’s first design hire, I had ownership of the entire user experience. I was responsible for designing every feature we built and collaborated with the engineering team to deliver the best experience on a constrained time frame.

My core responsibilities included designing consistent patterns and experiences across our products while encouraging creativity of thought and a sense of pride in the product our designers were building.

My time was spent building and creating great designs for the many startup companies moving through the accelerator at every phase of development. It was a whirlwind of fun, design, and fast-paced production.

I was selected to be a member of the Startup Institute's second class. SI builds killer startup employees with a vast network of entrepreneurs and companies. We worked with multiple companies to develop finished projects that had a real world application.
