Even though it is just a Vietnamese restaurant, I can still have a chance to meet and serve different people from around the world. That means I can know a bit of Canadian working environment and how to deal with busy situations.
This is a Vietnamese supermarket which sells many home and unique products from Vietnam. I can carry heavy stuff and very patient to answer customers' questions because there are someone who really does not have any knowledge about our products in store so I have to explain it carefully. My customers are not only Vienamese, but they are also Chinese, Korean, Japanese; therefore, English is a language to communicate.
Apart from help cook, I can do another position called server. My job's responsibilities are to take customers' orders and then give out them our unique and special dishes in the restaurant. There are sometimes misunderstanding between me and my customers; however, it is not very serious and I can fix to turn it normally.
I am still studying this course, but as I mentioned before, I have some real experiences rather than the knowledge at school. And when I finish taking the program, I can up faster to have more optimistic result.
