Board certified as an anesthesiologist, Dr. Lewis Satloff is presently on the staff of McAllen Anesthesia Consultants in Edinburg, Texas. He provides infants, children, and neonates with general anesthesia prior to orthopedic, general surgery, and neurosurgery. Well connected in his professional community, Dr. Lewis Satloff is active with the Texas Society of Anesthesiologists and the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia.
Dr. Satloff earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Rochester, and pursued an MD at Brown University’s Warren Alpert School of Medicine. From 1983 to 1985, he undertook internship and internal medicine training at Presbyterian/St Luke's Medical Center in Denver, Colorado and subsequently completed his residency work at the University of Colorado Medical Center.
Dr. Satloff began his career in Tucson, Arizona, with the Carondelet St. Mary’s Medical Center. He also practiced in Hawthorne, California, at the Robert F. Kennedy Medical Center from 1991 to 2004. His achievements include completing a 12 month pediatric anesthesia fellowship at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles in the late 1990s. He has practiced at locations such as Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Maryland.
