NewBoy FZCO engages in marketing and distribution of toys, food, stationery, nursery, and toy-cosmetic products throughout the Middle East and North Africa. My contribution to NewBoy is in planning, and controlling the entire logistics function of NewBoy FZCO (HQ) and NewBoy UAE (DC) operations. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Plan & manage all warehouse activities of inbound receiving, put away, location management, order picking and packing, order delivery planning. - Optimize the daily delivery schedule to achieve the trade off between customer satisfaction and efficiency. - Leading WH operations through informed decision based on extensive data analysis of the various daily warehouse events. - Alien warehouse operations to sales and procurement activities. - Apply high safety standards within warehouse to ensure safety of stock and staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Plan, Manage & implement NewBoy efficient Logistics strategy to support corporate's core business plan. - Address the complexity of NewBoy operations by de-coupling complexity when possible and deal with it when inevitable. - Ensure flexible operation to handle demand volatility. - Establish, monitor & achieve Logistics & warehouse key performance indicators. - Member of Process Improvement Board within NewBoy. - Develop and build logistics & warehouse Standards Operating Procedures, and map all operations processes to ensure effectiveness and identify areas of improvement. - Supervise all transactions associated with LC - Responsible for smooth and uninterrupted flow of goods into all our active markets by ensuring all NewBoy products portfolio is in compliance with all relevant international and regional Consumer Safety Standards - Always seek to equip logistics team with innovative solutions and tools to help them be peak performers. - Effectively manage all logistics service providers (freight forwarders, 3PL, local clearance brokers…etc.) - Guide all logistics team to be customer-focused and marketing oriented.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Setting Logistics department goals, and responsible for developing and enhancing logistics process. - Responsible for applying QMS in the department in order to obtain ISO 9001 certificate. - Trains all new employees. - Participated in the massive training and ERP implementation in NewBoy KSA distribution channels, including training logistics teams on logitics process and ERP transactions. - Supervises and control all shipping\logistics activities in the company. - Responsible for solving and troubleshooting conflicts/issues related to Media or Logistics endeavor. - Supervises and maintains accurate data entred by logistics coordinators, and communicate completed transactions with finance dept. in order to proceed with invoicing procedures. - Maintains shipments tracking application with up-to-date information about each shipment. - Liases with the Logistics Coordinator to make sure that NewBoy orders are being shipped on time and without delays. - Mainitain accurate record of the inventory physically and on system
