Started as an entry level executive conducting face to face sales and marketing at events largely based in London. I have undertaking training in sales and business development. I was responsible for building a team conducting sales for a beauty client. I progressed through the company maintaining consistently high sales targets and was promoted to the position of Assistant Manager.
My responsibilities included recruitment, training sales staff and motivating and managing a team of 20 people. I also remained committed to promoting the brands and securing sales by regularly attending and leading events in Manchester, London and throughout the UK.
I undertook training in business to business sales and trained others in this area. I also undertook work for other linked business promoting clients such as Talk Talk, Virgin and Vanquis credit cards.
I ran a busy sales team with an emphasis on building brand awareness, sales and expanding through recruitment.
I have ultimately obtained my own client and opened my own sales office. We promoted a skin care brand through events based marketing in Manchester and throughout the North West.
I was responsible for negotiating and booking events, recruiting and training staff in a busy sales office. The office of 25 staff generated a £1.9 million turnover over 2 years with a price point for products of £30. The staff all worked on 100% commission with an emphasis on career progression, I promoted two managers in the 2 year period who will progress to opening their own office. I have also recruited and managed a satellite sales team promoting brands and products in CostCo stores throughout Greater Manchester.
