• Developed verification and validation plans for sell-off and delivery of incremental software builds. Identified system level functions and capabilities, designed test cases, executed procedures and documented results and artifacts. Acted as lead analyst for test anomalies and root cause investigations.
• Served as responsible engineering authority for subcontractor software development and integration and test efforts. Managed hardware/software integration and monitored execution to ensure completion of cost and schedule milestones. Held accountable for final technical approval of system design specifications, test plans and procedures, and test reports.
• Reviewed customer engineering change proposals and requests for change. Provided comments and analysis to customer summarizing technical implications to system design as well as overall schedule and cost factors.
• Led multiple formal and informal technical interchange meetings with customer team, including uniformed military personnel. Resolved open comments on CDRL submittals, provided development status and metrics, and developed resolutions to test anomalies.
• Headed verification planning activities for systems security engineering in support of certification. Performed requirements decomposition, gap analysis, test planning and development of test procedures.

• Authored white paper investigating root cause analysis of intermittent memory failures during government test. Performed root cause analysis to simulate conditions present in the test facility and determine impact on system performance and function.
• Co-authored system/sub-system design documentation containing architecture models to answer interrogatives in accordance with Department of Defense Architectural Framework (DODAF)
• Performed major component trade studies for modernized GPS receiver to reduce cost, size and power consumption to exceed performance requirements of end product.
• Designed upgrades to legacy production special test equipment. Delivered, installed and verified functionality and performance with no impact to international production delivery schedule

• Executed as module lead for customer funded research and development project of anti-jam GPS receiver. Managed design, layout and routing of cutting edge 32 layer, HDI printed circuit board. Successfully integrated PCBs overcoming manufacturing yields to deliver three complete systems to the customer
• Created modernized GPS receiver module specification, maintained DOORS database, and produced traceability artifacts to satisfy contract deliverables

• Led hardware design and integration activities for customer funded proof of concept GPS receiver/navigator with high anti-jam capabilities. Provided field support for customer integration into multiple test beds.
• Created parts obsolescence study for legacy product. Identified current and candidate components for replacement and updates. Analysis of components comprised of cost, availability and technology to increase design cycle time.
