Managing budgets, Monitor expenditure and costs against deliverables and realised benefits as programme develops; Plan and monitor the programmes overall progress; Resolve any issues and instigate corrective action as appropriate;Manage and develop staff within the programme team; Ensuring the delivery of new services from the projects having appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, according to the programme plan; Taking responsibility for the overall integrity of the programme; Risk assessment of programme and subsequent management to ensure successful completion; Manage 3rd party contributions to the programme as appropriate; Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects; Communicate to relevant stakeholders;
Responsible for Supplier Development and risk mitigation for the existing company supply chain in South Asia including India and Bangladesh and Srilanka; managing a talented pool of team members located in India and Bangladesh; presenting company RS (Responsible Sourcing) Strategy at key supplier events and representing company at various stakeholder events; assisting suppliers management in recognizing negative conditions and root causes in their factory and ensure appropriate actions are taken in a timely manner; liaisoning with designated internal / external business partners to ensure progress and arrive at strategic decisions pertaining to interaction with factory management, as well as defined NGO’s to ensure goods are manufactured in according to company's COC and relevant local laws; Develop training materials (legal/Code Guidance Documents or Handouts) and deliver focusedemployee/management trainings & orientation on CSR management & control systems, the legal minimum requirements, specific COP provisions, or commonly occurring non-compliances at the factory / community or environmental levels; Managing and evaluating projects;
1. Sustain and develop relationships with internal and external business partners and stake holders (including Civil Society, Trade Unions, Central and State Goverments)2. Ongoing projects including "Prevention of Human Trafficking" in the supply chain: PPP based model in North India in partnership with NGO, Brand Partner and Goverment Of India.3. Project on integrated approach with Indian industry against child labor.4. Partnership with Institutes on Human Trafficking Initiatives.5. Risk annalysis and conflict managment. 6. 1. Evaluating, auditing and monitoring of factories against the Code of Vendor Conduct and federal, national, state, provincial or local labor laws.2. Participating and helping facilities participate in Monitoring of Handwork Locations and ensure total visibility of the supply chain.3. Area of responsibility includes multiple factories with in various cities, states or countries including conduct Root Cause analysis on issues found in factories4. Assessing the factories’ understanding of the code; provide training and information when necessary. Assist factory management in recognizing negative conditions and root causes in their factory and ensure appropriate actions are taken in a timely manner.5. Assisting facilities to have their own Environmental Management Systems including helping facilities develop-Environmental policies-Environmental Management Plan and Records-Waste management and disposal.-Chemical storage and chemical handling-International and national Legal requirements6. Involvement in development of strategy for operating in North India/ Pakistan.7. Develop Vendor Strategy Map for the region including supporting the department on projects such as Industry Collaboration.
