Sam Smith is currently a Principal in Vaco's San Francisco office, where he manages a portfolio of technology companies, and focuses on strategic guidance, business process outsourcing, managed services, and trust and safety issues. Prior to joining Vaco, he managed operations for Hugh & Crye, an ecommerce brand based in Washington DC. At H&C, Sam was responsible for managing customer experience, pick/pack/ship operations, procurement, vendor relations, and strategic planning. He holds a JD from Georgetown University Law Center, and a BA in Political Communication from The George Washington University. When not at the office, Sam can frequently be found at the gym, where he coaches Crossfit, Olympic Weightlifting, and Powerlifting courses, out on a motorcycle, or on the golf course.
