• Conducted user research with all the stakeholders - administrators and students - to define the product roadmap and resource allocation towards features.
• Created bi-weekly reports for investors and CEO to streamline decision-making and reduce communication overload between the team and management.
• Ensured smooth product launch for our first paid customer - State University of India in May 2017.

A platform that matches current university students with alumni in similar fields for networking opportunities, 1:1 mentorship and job referrals

• Built web application with recommendation engine to ensure best matches between industry professionals and aspiring students.
• Drove marketing initiatives through word-of-mouth and Facebook ad campaigns that built a network of 3000+ students and alumni.
• Launched successfully at UC Berkeley - led to 100+ successful matches. The matches also had a 15% job referral rate which beat current solutions like LinkedIn University and Campus Software.
• Conducted tech-talks and events with leaders from the industry to give valuable feedback to students. Users praised the implementation of this new form of networking that was considerably lacking in their undergraduate experiences.

Worked under Prof. Armando Fox to migrate the Rails web applications for the Softwre Engineering course at UC Berkeley and edX.

• Led a team of 5 to migrate of Ruby On Rails application for the SaaS course(CS 169) from Rails 3.2 to Rails 4 and Ruby 1.9.3 to Ruby 2.2
• Maintained testing framework in RSpec and Cucumber to ensure high code coverage for the web application.
• Improved on boarding experience for people taking the course online by creating a VM in cloud9 IDE and writing detailed documentation for installation and deployment of the application

Occuhunt is a campus recruiting solution that focussed quick and easy resume drops for students and fast feedback. Our team was part of SkyDeck incubator. Primary customers were tech companies in the Bay Area including TubeMogul, Yahoo, Box.

• Created a Django web application with web and iOS front-end which had a recruiter portal and student portal.
• Built functionality for existing career fairs on campus that allowed students to apply directly on the career fair map.
• The platform also hosted a virtual career fair with companies that were unable to pay high cost of recruiting on campus by hosting a resume drop on the app every 2 weeks.
