Lead React developer on the development of Sportsbet's new iOS, mobile and desktop sportsbook applications using React / React Native and delivered using Scrum and Kanban agile methodologies. Played a pivotal role in the successful delivery of Sportsbet's new mobile and desktop web application in September 2018. Recently stepped into an acting delivery manager role whilst also continuing as a lead developer on their iOS re-platforming project due to be completed in May 2019. Main responsibilities include:

• Development of key sportsbook features using React/React Native, Redux libraries and Jest testing framework .
• Organise and plan fortnightly React developer forum to share new components, patterns, coding standards, learning's with all developers across the business.
• Frequently review other teams pull requests to ensure best practices are maintained within the projects React codebase.
• Working closely with a remote feature team in Cluj providing guidance and developer support ensuring the successful delivery of features.
• Lead all agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, retro's, demos) for a feature team.
• Showcase of completed features to product owners and project stakeholders.
• Development/support of CI/CD pipeline features which enables weekly deployments of new features to production.

4-month contractor role as a front-end React developer with a leading Australian energy provider. Responsible for the continuous delivery of new features and performance improvement’s on Origin’s digital sales platform using ReactJS/Redux Javascript library’s and agile scrum methodologies. Worked closely with delivery managers and product owners to ensure high quality deliverables were released every 2 weeks to production environment’s.

Joined the Deloitte technology consultant department as a graduate in 2014 and enjoyed successive “Exceptional Performance” ratings. Spent 18 months at Paddy Power working as a JavaScript developer and QA engineer on a new mobile web sportsbook application. Worked with both on-shore and off-shore (Portugal, Spain, Bulgaria) development teams. Also involved in successful delivery of web application projects for Three Ireland and the department of social protection. Main responsibilities included:

• Development of key front-end features using Sencha JavaScript framework.
• Partook in planning, refinement, estimation, demo and retrospective sessions throughout all sprints during the build phase of the project.
• Automation of browser tests using Selenium, Jbehave and Java.
• Involved in the handover of project to Portugal support team.
• Data collection and analysis of app performance metrics.

Co-founder and lead front-end developer of UniBrowse.ie, a start-up founded in June 2016. UniBrowse.ie makes it possible for students to search, compare and evaluate all aspects of third level university courses in Ireland through a fully responsive web application.

• Development and design of web application using AngularJS framework.
• Implementation of build pipeline using Gulp to produce production ready code base.
• Implementation of SEO best practices for single page applications.

Designing and developing fully responsive web applications using latest UI trends for companies based in Ireland. This involves taking clients through the full website development cycle from initial concept to design phase through to go-live, SEO and future support of website. Examples of work include:

• Developed a React mobile/desktop web application for Irelands largest private coach company to display real-time passenger information to customers.
• Developed a on-boarding web application for Deloitte's HR department using ReactJS/Redux, Bootstrap and Webpack.

Graduated in 2014 from a 5 year Electronic & Computer Engineering degree. Awarded a Bachelor of Engineering Science (BESc) after year 3 and a Master of Engineering (ME) after year 5.
