I delivered a new and groundbreaking HMRC Digital Strategy, communicating to the organisation and wider public the strategic aims of £200m of Treasury investment in the department's digital transformation - including a broad range of changes to ways of working, digital tools, infrastructure and organisational culture.

  • Conducted and analysed in-depth interviews with over 20 stakeholders (up to SCS level), considering a broad range of perspectives on the department's digital future
  • Analysed digital best practice from industry leading companies in order to identify key opportunities for digital change and improvement within the department.
  • Built and managed a network of internal and external strategic stakeholders, incorporating their feedback on strategy drafts through open collaborative workshops.
  • The strategy was published in November 2014 and is cited by GDS as an example of best practice in government digital strategy.
