Role Overview
The Senior Project Specialist handles assigned daily project activities independently and corresponds with internal and external stakeholders as assigned and required. This role supports Project Managers with internal and external project meetings, creating, reviewing, and updating project documentation, status reports and other material as needed.
Key Accountabilities/Decision Making & Influence
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (maximum 10)
- Maintenance of detailed project documentation including meeting minutes, action items, issues lists and risk management plans.
- Tracks the progress and reports out on timeliness and quality of work being performed by vendors in order to achieve client milestones. Tracks the progress and reports out on timeliness and quality of work being performed by other internal functional teams in order to achieve client milestones
- Engages in study/site or client management mostly dealing with routine items and sometimes dealing with complex issues. Able to support medium to high complexity Projects.
- Leads efforts associated with the successful execution of project tasks as directed by the Project Manager. Ownership of delegated project activities to ensure the timely and quality execution of project deliverables based on scope-of-services
- Handles project escalations independently and works with internal and client teams to resolve these as appropriate. Escalate as appropriate in a timely manner.
- Responsible for delegated client and project communication during the project lifecycle.
- Has ownership of delegated responsibilities in supporting the management and execution of all assigned projects including the management and execution of change orders.

- Must be detail orientated
- Must have solid MS Office Suite experience – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
