Our office is currently remote. Forbes aims to offer employees the flexibility they need in order to be successful. Upon our return to the office the expectation is that this role can be based out of Jersey City, NJ, offering a hybrid work schedule or can be fully remote in the US.
Forbes Media LLC is looking for a dynamic professional to join the fast-growing Forbes licensing team as an Account Manager. In this role, the Account Manager will provide direct product support of our licensing business which includes logo, badge and quote usage rights, reprints, awards and plaques and our fast-growing new Forbes Profiles product. Forbes Profiles are available for purchase by the people, places and companies that have made it onto one of our esteemed lists. The Account Manager will report to the Group Vice President of Licensing and Strategic Partnerships and work together with the Licensing Sales Manager.
Requirements
- Provide product feature and benefits support as Profiles expert to list makers who wish to talk to a person before purchasing a Licensing or Profiles product.
- Mange the white glove customer experience of list makers who require support while building their profile or licensing a logo using our new self-service online profiles platform and recommending process refinements to enhance the overall experience
- Provide outbound educational calls with the Sale Manager to list makers who have not engaged with our marketing outreach with the goal of engaging them to move from consideration to purchase.
- Work closely with Forbes marketing team to provide product feedback to help inform future versions of the Profiles product.
- Coordinate with our various list business partners (Statista, Shook Research, etc.)
- Work with our video and content team to field inquiries surrounding our Profiles content post and video product
- Provide regular reporting via “conversation reports” in our CRM Salesforce on list maker outreach.
- Work closely with our business intelligence team to compile necessary analytics reports to help demonstrate ROI to list makers who have purchased a Profile.
- Help field inquiries with respect to licensing and logo usage rights that are included with their profile purchase.
- Produce weekly reports to internal and external partner teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years’ experience in customer service, sales or product marketing
- Extremely proactive with strong verbal and written communication, customer relations, sales, marketing and analytical skills
- Experience working with CRM systems
- Ability to manage professional relationships with external stakeholders, including managing client relationships, timely communication and collaboration.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and adjust to changes effortlessly in a fast-paced team environment.
- Must be able to work collaboratively and cross-functionally across many different departments including but not limited to Billing, Marketing, Product and Sales while also working with our business partner.
