GRIN is headquartered in Sacramento, CA, yet has a “Remote First” work policy, meaning remote, or work from home, is the default. Therefore this position is open to anyone in the United States. We will give preference to candidates in the Sacramento area, but that shouldn’t stop you from applying if you live outside of the area. When it is safe to do so, we will get together as a team on a quarterly basis, so in these situations you are required to come into the office.
Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
- Manage, lead, and develop a growing sales department of 3 Sales Managers and 20+ Account Executives
- Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, sales processes, delivering high levels of quality, accuracy and consistency
- Lead through GRIN culture and values—be a culture carrier
- Identify, develop, and implement sales strategies on new market opportunities
- Work collaboratively inter-departmental and with all cross functional teams for continued process improvement aligning to company’s key KPIs
- Establish and adjust selling prices to optimize ACV, win rate, and sales cycle by monitoring market dynamics, competition and input from the field
- Recruit, promote and maintain sales staff
- Actively participate in sales calls/meetings assisting the team in winning new customers
- Provide call coaching to AE’s and Sales Managers – heavy focus on continuous growth and development.
- Recruit, promote and maintain sales staff
- Coach and support Sales Managers to maximize sales production
- Develop, organize and implement Sales QBRs
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of software sales management experience as Sales Manager or Director
- Proven track record of building consistent over achieving high performance Saas sales teams
- Strong experience using Salesforce.com, GONG, Outreach.io and other sales tools/products to drive productivity
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and people management skill
- Keen business sense, with the ability to find creative business-oriented solutions to problems
- Ability to prepare reports and use appropriate mode of communication.
- Must be proficient at analyzing data, building reporting and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends
