Engineering Manager, Consumer Insights at AgencyAnalytics

We're looking for an Engineering Manager to facilitate learning, excellence and delivery in AgencyAnalytic's new Consumer Insights team. In this role, you'll build and manage a small team of cross-functional engineers who will provide AgencyAnalytics leadership with the data needed to drive key business decisions. The team will regularly measure user behavior, discover and report on trends in our data, closely monitor key metrics for anomalies, and interact with our codebases to track and measure key events.As a Manager, you will have responsibilities that span equally across people, engineering, and business. We will rely on you to ensure that the team and technology grows and continues to execute on our mission.This position is 100% remote and only eligible for those who are authorized to work in Canada. We ask that Managers work approximately in the EST (Toronto / New York) time zone to reduce communication barriers for the team.

What You'll Do

• Build, lead and serve a small team of engineers through hiring, coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands-on career development
• Work with engineering leaders to continuously improve and nurture our culture, practices and employee wellbeing
• Work closely with your team to deliver business intelligence solutions
• Prioritize multiple incoming requests and oversee projects from start to finish
• Facilitate collaboration between key stakeholders and cross functional teams to reach the right goals and align with the company mission
• Advocate for engineering best practices and focus strongly on quality
• Forecast team needs and capacity to match business objectives

Job requirements

• You have experience leading a remote team
• You have a strong understanding of data practices, reporting, BI solutions and ETL pipelines
• You have experience or passion for developing positive culture and focus on employee wellbeing
• You have a good understanding of development practices
• You've previously led an engineering team of a similar size
• You're passionate about growing your team
