Switch Themes builds themes exclusively for Shopify’s theme store.We’re looking for a Front-End Developer who can assist us with rebuilding one of our Shopify themes.This is a casual / contract role with an estimated 20 hours a week but based on performance can extend to full-time hours. This is a remote position - ideally the candidate will be in a timezone that is close to Melbourne, Australia
Your Role:We're currently rebuilding one of our Shopify Themes from scratch. This is using our custom Webpack tool and we will be removing jQuery dependency and using Tailwind CSS. We need a Front-End Developer to come onboard and assist us with this rebuild.
Your experience and skills:
- Expert experience with building Shopify Themes and Shopify's liquid templating language
- Expert knowledge in the Shopify platform and Shopify Themes
- Understand all requirements for Shopify Themes to be listed on the theme store:https://shopify.dev/tutorials/review-theme-store-r…
- Strong web development skills (HTML, CSS and Javascript)
- Experience with Webpack and using build tools
- Strong Javascript skills (Vanilla JS)
- Be able to follow designs exactly
- Be able to take designs and apply the same principles to other templates that don't have designs
