Head of Sales and Marketing Operations (HubSpot)
LOCATION: Remote. Or hybrid at our downtown Minneapolis location at LifeTime Work (3 days a week).
START DATE: September to October.
CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 6 years in digital marketing + strong knowledge of sales.
- Strong HubSpot skills. At least 2 years experience.
- We are not seeking one-dimensional HubSpot fanatics/devotees. We are seeking those who have diverse experience in sales and marketing, beyond the HubSpot platform.
- Skilled at crafting strong value propositions, and knowing what type of sales copy, emails, and landing pages convert.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Your position will oversee sales and marketing operations at our company, contributing to the growth and operational efficiency of the business. You will be involved at a management level in key decision-making for the company, helping us grow, think strategically, and deliver great work to our clients.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Solid, very strong experience in HubSpot, using it for both sales and marketing efforts.
- Strong knowledge in both sales and marketing.
- Experience with a wide range of marketing automation tools preferred but not required.
- Diverse knowledge of multiple areas of digital marketing. SEO, copywriting, paid ads, etc. You won’t necessarily have to run these efforts, but you should be knowledgeable enough to go in and audit or troubleshoot to know when and why they are not being executed effectively, or at least pull in the right resource to help you audit.
- Strong understanding of marketing and sales copy. Understanding of persuasive language, what makes a strong value proposition, CTAs, and the components of a strong landing page.
- Ability analyze and realize insights from sales and marketing data.
- Strong interpersonal, client relationship, and client-facing communication skills.
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS (not required, but please mention):
- Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Experience with Salesforce.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms besides HubSpot.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Marketing Operations
- Manage and oversee HubSpot and inbound marketing, both for us internally and for our clients.
- Continue to learn and grow your skills on the HubSpot platform, developing programs for O8 and our clients such as onboarding, monthly packages, and other implementations.
- Attend HubSpot partnership meetings. Develop and grow our HubSpot offering as part of our business strategy.
- Become familiar with, research, and stay on top of other marketing operations tools and solutions so that we can deliver and speak on such platforms to our clients.
- Oversee our internal website operations, such as lead generation, e.g. landing page creation, opt-in capture, lead nurturing, offer creation, etc.
- Oversee our internal digital marketing operations. Ensure effectiveness.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Sales Operations
- Work with 3rd party fractional sales team(s). Ensure leads are of good quality for sales team.
- Define steps to improve sales conversions, shorten sales cycles, and maximize wins.
- Use internal data and analytics along with market and competitor research to help drive sales strategy.
- Ensure proper functioning of proposal generation, project/retainer estimation, and related sales processes.
- Develop, organize, and maintain sales collateral.
- Assist in the creation and management of outbound email campaigns.
- Train the sales team on marketing campaigns.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Sales + Marketing Operations
- Report sales and marketing campaign results to leadership. Find areas of improvement.
- Define steps to improve marketing conversions.
- Set goals and track KPIs for sales and marketing efforts. Help hold team accountable.
- Manage sales and marketing data and reporting through HubSpot CRM
- Supervise spend, budget, and contracts for freelancers and 3rd party vendors.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT, HOURS, LOCATION:
- We love to enjoy happy hour, get our foodie on, hang out, and travel together! Obviously this is easier if you’re local, but we try to bring in remote team members a few times per year, and vacation together if we meet our company goals.
- We expect you to be logged in and working from around 9am to 5pm Central, Monday through Friday. We are fairly flexible as long as you meet your goals and get the expected work done.
