As a Lead Generation Specialist with our Mergers & Acquisitions team, you’ll assist with promoting Volaris Group and establishing relationships with business owners to develop leads for potential acquisition opportunities. This is a great role for a recent college grad or early career professional who’s interested in elements of both sales and marketing. We’re seeking an energetic and confident communicator with a business or marketing degree. We are a fast-growing, driven team chasing an ambitious growth goal so there will be opportunities to progress within the portfolio for the right person.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and analyze businesses to determine appropriate target opportunities
  • Conduct research using tools like LinkedIn and contact databases to find contact details
  • Understand and effectively communicate the benefits and value of being acquired by Volaris Group
  • Stay up to date on trends in software/technology and in the vertical markets we serve
  • Implement strategic lead generation/prospecting campaigns with target businesses, using outreach mechanisms like personalized email, marketing automation, outbound calling, and social media
  • Analyze campaign results and refine approach, including message effectiveness, in order to maximize success initiating communications with business owners, despite firewalls of assistants
  • Arrange introductory meetings between interested business owners and our mergers & acquisitions team
  • Grow and maintain Volaris Group’s proprietary Salesforce database
  • Achieve quarterly lead generation goals

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong performance in an undergraduate degree (preferably business, marketing, finance, economics, or communications)
  • Energetic, personable, and results-oriented
  • Confident self-starter with an ability to take initiative and problem solve
  • Exceptional written/verbal communication skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Able to build relationships with individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Can flex personal style to adapt to different personalities
  • Good conflict resolution skills
  • Highly driven and intellectually curious
  • Proven record of leadership in extracurricular activities and/or through internships or co-ops
  • Can multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, PPT, and Outlook

BONUS SKILLS

  • Experience with Salesforce.com and/or Marketo
  • Previous sales or marketing experience
  • Previous experience with SaaS or software sales
  • Strong data management & analysis skills
  • Competent financial skills to confidently assess acquisition targets
