Position description
The Associate in Marketing will assist in developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating marketing strategies to advance Mayo Clinic’s mission and strategic plan. Responsible for tactical execution of marketing-related activities, which may include advertising, collateral development, digital marketing, content creation/assessment, and event planning/sponsorships. Assigned to a variety of projects and works with experts, leaders, and professionals across Mayo Clinic. Contributes, as an active team member, who openly shares information and coordinates with others to plan, advance, implement, and improve marketing strategies. May involve competitive landscape assessments and recommendations. Develops and supports positive relationships with staff across Mayo Clinic. Assess opportunities for improvement and demonstrates willingness and ability to adapt to change. Belief in Mayo mission and strong ethical conduct is essential.
- 1 – 2 years of paid search (Google/Bing) and social (Facebook/Instagram) experience preferred, but not required
- Open to learning paid search (Google/Bing) and social (Facebook/Instagram)
- Open to learning landing page creation, CRO (conversion rate optimization) and A/B testing
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEM, paid search/social, and digital marketing
- Google Ads certifications preferred, but not required
- Sense of ownership and confidence in performance and its impact on organization’s mission and vision

Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance in a related field including liberal arts, business, marketing, healthcare, or similar field. Interest in advertising and marketing, and passion for healthcare.
Additional qualifications
Requires strong leadership, problem solving, critical thinking, active listening, quantitative skills, persuasive oral and written communication skills, project management, presentation skills, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work effectively in a consensus-style and collaborative environment that expects and promotes teamwork. Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment. Must possess the ability to inspire trust and confidence, and maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality. Must possess high personal motivation supporting a strong work ethic, flexibility, and creativity. Has a positive influence on others. Position requires occasional travel and the flexibility to work weekends and evenings as necessary.

Compensation Detail
Required education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The salary range every 2 weeks is approx. $2,192.00-$2,960.00 based on a full-time position.
