Overview
The Experience Design Communications team is focused on translating the heart of Compassion’s mission through a unified, simple, and relatable voice.
We’re looking for a highly motivated and organized communications professional who is comfortable interacting with a variety of individuals and who aspires to bring clarity and focus to all communications. He/she provides marketing communications expertise informed by Experience Design methodologies, creating consistent, connected experiences, driven through the lens of brand. Working independently and/or participating as a team member, he/she will play a key role in the creation and development of a variety of different marketing communications projects, equipping local teams to execute with relevance and excellence.
What will you do?
- Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Act as an advocate for children. Understand and advance Christ’s mandate to protect children. Take active steps to help protect against neglect, abuse, and exploitation of children.
- Uphold and engage in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors.
- Drive the development of strategic and creative messaging to enable neighbor-facing teams to serve their audiences with excellence. Often accomplished by leading teams and directing the work of creative agencies.
- Actively build relationships with other departments to ensure successful cooperation when producing marketing communication projects.
- Play a key role in the creation and development of global external marketing communications.
- Shape an external marketing communications narrative, ensuring projects and campaigns connect and reinforce the external narrative.
- Input into Experience Design foundational system to equip and empower local teams to be an expression of Compassion’s voice and tone.
- Cast campaign vision to team members and other stakeholders, inspire enthusiastic support, and drive towards the successful completion of key campaigns.
What do you bring?
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline
- 7-10 years of experience working in copywriting, communications, marketing, or similar field
