Meet the Role:
This is a combination role that blends lead gen & qualification, with the opportunity to independently manage a pipeline and opportunities through all stages through close. As a Pharmacy Sales Development Representative/Small Market Account Executive, you are responsible for building the Sales channel by attracting and qualifying prospects who are evaluating or considering electronic health record products and services and specifically electronic medication administration products and services. You will directly impact the growth of our business by generating leads and collaborating on targeted campaigns to build and increase our customer base.

You will receive a ton of training on PointClickCare products and services, the latest sales processes, and you will continuously learn about the high-growth senior care industry.
Meet the Team:
You will report into the Director, Pharmacy Sales and you’ll be working alongside Regional Pharmacy Sales Manager, Pharmacy Account Executives (AE) and other sales roles throughout the organization to meet sales targets. This team model allows for lots of collaboration and the ability to share stories/best practices. You will have lots of support from your immediate team and Director, Pharmacy Sales whose purpose is to set you up for success through coaching and mentorship. The leadership support is based on an individualistic approach enabling you to succeed in this role or prepare you for the next.

What you’ll be doing day to day:
- Daily focus on Selling and Generating Pharmacy & Facility leads, managing entire sales process for designated prospect/customer based on size
- Build Sales channel opportunities through lead generation from web inquiry portal and internal Customer Success Manager, In Base Account Executive, Project Managers, and core New Logo Account Executive referrals
- Strategic approach to territory planning, account planning, account cohorting and the pre-discovery/qualification stage
- You’ll engage with your assigned territory of prospects to understand their business and look for opportunities to schedule a meeting for them with our Pharmacy Account Executives and Pharmacy Regional Sales Managers
- Working with marketing requests from sales, marketing material to support sales requests
- Developing a new pharmacy pipeline and qualifying pharmacy candidates for certification
- Review stale Backlog opportunities and take appropriate action to revive or cancel
- Weekly status calls with Pharmacy Regional Sales Managers as required
- You will use our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track progress, schedule activities, and document relevant information on prospective customers & pharmacies
- You will help prospects to identify the need for change that will lead to increased quality of care for their residents.
- You will contribute to booking and revenue targets.
- You are often the first point of contact with our prospects, giving us the opportunity to establish a positive relationship and experience.
- It is the entry position into our Sales organization, which will provide organizational bench strength for other sales roles.

About you:

- You have some experience in entry-level sales.
- You hold a Post-Secondary Degree/College Diploma.
- You have some experience using CRM systems, but is not a requirement. Hopefully it’s with Salesforce or SalesLoft.
