About You
You are self-motivated. You believe in empowerment through food. You nerd out over scalable design systems. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team. This is a high visibility role with exposure to executive leadership. They lean on you to create the best experience for our customers across platforms.
What You’ll Do
- Connect business goals to design strategy
- Create the underlying UX and the explicit UI in our product ecosystem
- Sketch rough mockups of flows, features and screens at a fast pace
- Design pixel-perfect comps in Figma (knowledge of variants and auto-layout are critical)
- Prototype interactions that create small moments of joy for our customers
- Self-direct your work and predict how to help your team
- Wear many hats, some outside your comfort zone
- Work on an empowered team with product managers and engineers
- Assist in conducting quantitative and qualitative user research
Requirements
Qualifications
- Degree in Design or a related field (i.e. experience, interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, UI/UX, or a related field)
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in a B2C product environment
- Portfolio that showcases how you solve problems
- Proven experience and ability to provide rationale for design decisions and directions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collect and synthesize information into actionable product designs
- Strong attention to detail and practical ability to build component-drive design systems
- Ability and experience designing for web and iOS
- Knowledge and experience in information architecture, content strategy, navigation patterns, and way-finding
- Experience with responsive web design and mobile-first approaches
- Functional copywriting skills that help the customer navigate and use our product
Skills & Experience
- Experience working in Figma is a must
- Experience with Principle, Framer or a comparable prototyping program of your choice
- Experience working in an agile software setting
- Marketing, advertising or branding experience is a nice to have
