Stride, Inc. is seeking an experienced marketing professional to drive significant revenue growth across our lines of business including Career Learning and General Education.

Stride is looking for a highly experienced marketing executive to broaden the reach of our media management platform and scale our growth across all lines of business. Reporting to the Vice President Marketing Demand Generation, the Senior Director, Digital Media, is responsible for the strategy and execution of digital marketing programs that capture and nurture leads across multiple online channels including SEM, Display, Video, and Paid Social.

This position requires an individual who is analytically minded, data-driven in their decision-making process and well versed in marketing technologies. This role must have a firm grasp of digital marketing best practices with an innate curiosity to continually investigate new trends and disruptive approaches that will improve the company’s acquisition results. The ideal marketing executive embraces a hands-on team approach that thrives on growth of scaling an education technology B2C and B2B demand engine focusing on daily results.

Working in coordination with Marketing Analytics, this role is responsible for the marketing return on investment (MROI), using models that consistently provide insights into the effectiveness of marketing channels. The role is about improving the amount required to spend on marketing to reach new audiences, while achieving the revenue & growth expectations of Stride. The Sr. Director, Digital Media is a marketing team leader, responsible for the scalable, predictable and repeatable process of creating a healthy lead generation pipeline.

The responsibilities of the role include strategy development, program execution, team management and process optimization.

  • Develop and grow a high performing, metrics-driven, digital marketing team obsessed in outperforming daily/weekly expectations
  • Lead strategic development of multi-channel direct and channel acquisition campaigns including but not limited to search, display, paid social, and video
  • Meet and exceed pipeline development goals and other leading indicators of demand at every step of the funnel
  • Forecast, measure, analyze and report on the impact of demand creation activities on sales pipeline and enrollment.
  • Continuously evaluate the performance and ROI of campaigns, adjusting demand tactics and strategy accordingly.
  • Work closely with other marketing teams and line of business owners to define go-to-market strategies, buyer personas, value proposition, messaging and content needs.
  • Work closely with product marketing, marketing communications, market outreach and development and sales to ensure message optimization and cross-functional alignment.
  • Ensure a highly productive relationship with Enrollment operations, driving strong alignment on campaign strategy as well as pipeline and close rate objectives.
  • Optimize targeting, creative, media and budget allocation to maximize effectiveness and ROI.
  • Assess new trends and drive continual improvement of the acquisition portfolio.
  • Establish an A/B testing discipline using the Data-Action-Outcome framework
  • Gains trust and confidence of company’s stakeholders and demonstrates leadership values and integrity.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises 6-7 Full-time Equivalent (FTE) regular employees and/or contractors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ten (10) Years of Marketing Experience OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates and Licenses: None required.

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in a B2C and in a B2B growth-oriented environment
  • Experience managing and optimizing multi-channel advertising strategies and budgets
  • Experience with 2ndand 3rd party data
  • Proven track record in growing and scaling nascent consumer businesses
  • Demonstrated experience improving MROI/LTV
  • Ability to understand and challenge media mix models
  • Strong background in digital marketing, preferably in e-commerce environment
  • MS 365; Web proficiency
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time
  • Ability to clear required background check

  • This is a home-based position and may be performed remotely from all 50 states and D.C.

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.

  • We anticipate the salary range to be $90,137 to $167,453. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
