Golin, the PRovoke Media 2021 Large Agency of the Year, seeks a dynamic team leader and digital strategist to manage the day-to-day operations of one of our largest and longest-running tech accounts.

We are the social media agency of record for the US B2B marketing division of one of the world’s biggest and best-known mobile technology brands.

Our team markets phones, tablets, laptops and more to business decision makers from the C-suite of Fortune 100 to small business owners and first responders.

In addition, you’ll serve as a senior strategist on a second account where we are social media agency of record for one of the world’s most-used social platforms.

What you’ll do

  • Work closely with the client relationship manager who oversees both accounts to lead and manage strategic programs, ensuring the team is providing a high standard of client service
  • Maintain a big-picture strategic view of client business and help to develop large-scale programs to help support client business goals
  • Help to lead account planning, reporting, budgets, resource management and client satisfaction/feedback
  • Manage expectations against results, troubleshoot and be proactive in identifying challenges and opportunities, and ensure flawless execution of day-to-day client activities
  • Provide inspirational leadership to team members helping to develop their skills and expertise
  • Manage team members’ time against client work scope and budget
  • Responsible to oversee billability and client profitability
  • Effective social media strategies to deliver meaningful business results for our clients
  • Provide strategic counsel and advise on digital/social campaigns and tactics across the ecosystem of paid, earned, shared and owned media
  • Own the digital strategy process; see the need, lead the brainstorm, and begin to identify other team members who have the potential of becoming facilitators
  • Identify client objectives and learn how to integrate digital and traditional communication strategies
  • Lead and mentor junior to mid-level team members to build a culture of high performance
  • Collaborate in the global digital practice’s management and growth

What you have

  • 8+ years of relevant B2B social media marketing experience
  • Agency account leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Impeccable client relationship management skills
  • Experience managing large digital/social programs from start to finish
  • Ability to work with vendors and manage sizeable budgets
  • Ability to galvanize internal teams to approach communications with a “digital-first” mindset
  • Strong creative and strategic thinking with the ability to deliver innovative programs and approaches
