HRSA Graphic Designer (Contractor)

Forum One is looking for a Graphic Designer. This is a 1099 contract position working approximately 20hrs per week. This is a fully remote position, working eastern standard hours. As a Graphic Designer, you will contribute to the overall design of marketing materials, including social media graphics and print materials, with guidance from the creative team and the client’s brand guidelines.

A solid knowledge of design principles and processes, social media standards, accessible design, campaign and marketing materials design, and branding is a must. The Graphic Designer is expected to develop graphics for presentations and communication channels proactively and leads a design project from beginning to end. Therefore, strong presentation, collaboration, and communication skills are required.

What you’ll do:

• Lead design projects
• Develop high-quality graphics for presentations
• Presents ideas and solutions using simple language, concise messages, and clear next steps.

What you bring to the table:

• 1 -2 years experience, preferably working on Federal contracts
• Experience designing in a range of formats, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Portable Document Format (PDF).
• Familiarity with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, Assistive Technology (AT), and government requirements to make materials accessible to people with disabilities.
• Experience conducting 508 remediations to make documents accessible to people with disabilities.
