    About the role:

    The Brand and Communications Design team at HashiCorp is comprised of multi-disciplinary, highly talented designers. Our primary focus is to create, define, and manage HashiCorp’s visual brand identity and to collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and co-workers to produce effective, high-quality materials or experiences.

    We’re looking for someone with:

    • A passion for design as a storytelling medium, demonstrable through a portfolio of marketing campaigns, design projects, engaging AV projects, or anything else—show us what you’ve got!
    • Strong understanding of the fundamental principles or design – including composition, typography, emphasis, contrast, balance and alignment, pacing, and proportion.
    • 5+ years of relevant print, spacial, and audiovisual design experience, preferably at a tech-forward, product-driven company or agency.
    • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, Figma or similar web/digital design tools, and After Effects. 3D modeling skills are a plus (SketchUp, AutoCad).
    • Proficient experience designing for print, working with CMYK and Pantone colors, and has an understanding of printing with a variety of materials.

    • Synthesize broadly scoped, loose concepts, into easily understandable deliverables.
    • Bring the brand, marketing campaigns, and event themes to life through engaging graphic and motion design.
    • Responsible for spatial and print design for internal and cultural events, industry trade shows, and large external brand experiences.
    • Work closely with the Experiential Marketing Team on attendee experience and spatial design such as floor planning, wayfinding, print signage, decor, lighting design, music, and branding.
    • Help foster a culture of design excellence, setting a consistently high bar for execution and delivery of highly engaging experiences across all customer touchpoints.
    • Work within and help enforce the visual language and design patterns of HashiCorp’s brand.
    • Help foster an environment of collaboration and cohesion between design and marketing teams.
    • Be agile and contribute wherever needed.
    • Use project management tools to effectively communicate the status, needs, roadblocks etc. of a given design project.

    • LucidPress: Manage, optimize, and administer brand templating tool for lulafit’s brand and our portfolio of client brand identities to ensure successful marketing scalability. You will provide company-wide updated training resources and continuously reinforce best practices.
    • Design/Marketing: Conceptualize, design, and manage interactive online content including email templates, sales enablement materials (e.g., brochures, pitch decks, infographics, etc.), social media, and ad campaigns. Support in new site-launches and brand identities for lulafit’s portfolio of accounts. Design digital marketing materials with a thoughtful understanding of digital advertising best practices.

    The Brand & Creative team at MURAL is a newly formed team consisting of visual designers, animators, illustrators, producers, and all around talented & humble people.     As a Motion Designer on the Brand & Creative team, you will help shape our culture of design and play an instrumental role in crafting how our brand manifests visually when put to motion.

    As a Motion Designer your goal will be to bring the MURAL brand to life, well, with motion! You will support our marketing, community, and culture teams on projects that involve visually representing the MURAL brand in brand hype videos, product explainers, internal culture pieces, social media animations, and so much more.

    This role is highly creative and requires a sharp eye—someone who always sweats the details and is obsessed with quality. Our ideal candidate is a strong visual + motion graphics designer with a passion for brand design and visual storytelling. Most of all, you just love to make stuff. You get excited about experimenting on new ideas, and love the feeling of pushing work out into the world for people to engage with.     Responsibilities will include

    • Create proofs of concept that enhance digital experiences and help tell stories
    • Create animations and videos for a range of front-site projects (Mural.co), internal projects and brand campaign work, including campaign microsites and social
    • Work with designers, art directors, and copywriters to create stories through motion
    • Work with designers to expand upon the brand system through motion
    • Create impactful work, and manage feedback with multiple projects.
    • Keep up with design and motion trends to keep MURAL at the forefront of industry standards


    • 5+ years of experience in Motion Design
    • Portfolio of shipped work that shows motion across a wide range of outputs (web, social, product explainers, brand videos)
    • You are an expert in After Effects and Premiere Pro
    • 3D skills in Cinema 4D or the like are a bonus
    • Have a passion for telling stories through motion, including storyboarding, editing footage, and motion graphics/animation
    • Comfortable working alone and in collaborative cross-discipline teams
    • Have an eye for detailed design and can understand a variety of aesthetics
