Senior Production Graphic Designer

POSITION LOCATION: NOTE THAT THIS POSITION IS REMOTE AND CAN WORK FROM ANYWHERE IN THE US
The Sr. Production Graphic Designer will provide ongoing production design support (both print and digital) to supplement Natera’s ongoing marketing initiatives. This role will work closely with Natera’s in-house creative and brand teams. The ideal candidate works quickly, is highly creative, driven, organized, and possesses a strong attention to detail. Applicants must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage time efficiently, work on multiple projects concurrently, and communicate exceptionally well.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and update various types of existing marketing content, including illustrations, charts, infographics, print advertisements, digital media, brochures, and reports, that can be translated across various media platforms, including print, digital, sales collateral, and multimedia channels.
- Own and maintain a comprehensive library of design assets for reusable, systematic designs/templates, while uploading/organizing all final files to Bynder DAM (asset management system)
- Review, refine, edit, and prepare files for final delivery, which includes: proofing, retouching, pre- and post-production, versioning, resizing, and updating design assets with new images or copy as needed
- Information design excellence: taking content and presenting in a consistent format to clearly communicate and educate
- Creative project and workflow management skills: keeping multiple programs on track across a matrixed organization
- Intense eye for detail, correctness and packaging, specifying design work for handover to downstream agencies/production vendors
- Highly skilled at quickly creating charts, graphics, retouching images
- Applies brand guidelines and visual consistency across the board
- Manage files from external vendors, contractors, and internal team as needed to maintain consistency across file naming, taxonomy, organization, tracking, and version control
- Work with print vendors to ensure proper file setup, quality and delivery meets expectations
- Assist in updating brand imagery, including use of stock and sourcing original photography
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, multimedia, visual arts, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 7 years of design experience in an agency or in house in the Healthcare, pharma, biotech, technology, or related industry.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software, especially Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to deliver complete projects within deadlines and budgets.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient with PC and/or Mac OS.
- Website, UI/UX, product, video, and/or motion graphics experience a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Duties are typically performed in an office setting.
- This position requires the ability to use a computer keyboard, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
- Employee must complete training relating to HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance training and security training as soon as possible but not later than the first 30 days of hire.
